Introduction
Pine Primary Arts was founded by artist and gallerist Rebecca Lidert. After establishing herself as a leading figure in the art world, Rebecca turned her attention to art education when she discovered a severe shortage of art teachers in primary schools across the country.
Believing that art had been vital to her own development as a child, she sought to address this gap by creating Pine Primary Arts in 2019. The organization aims to help children explore and develop their creative skills, while also supporting differently-abled students and making learning more engaging for all. By introducing children to new materials, mediums, and creative practices—and equipping teachers with the confidence to teach art—Pine Primary Arts ensures that creativity remains a core component of children’s education.
